FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS (FAQS)

1. Can I stay and watch my child during their class?

If our doors are closed due to cold/bad weather, the class is only visible through a window from our garden area.

If our doors are open, such as during the Summer, the class is visible from the garden area. Please just make sure you don't stand on the yellow marked pavement slab, as this is our fire exit and must remain clear at all times.

Watching weeks occur 3 times a year for a chance to watch your child inside the gymnasium.

2. Can I take a photo/video of my child in their class?

No - we have a duty of care for all children in the class. If you would like to take a photo/video of your child, please speak to the head coach.

3. What is the British Gymnastics Membership?

This is required for all of our services, except Birthday Parties and Holiday Crash Courses.

Airies Gymnastics Club is affiliated to British Gymnastics - the UK Governing body for Gymnastics. Therefore, all participants must pay to become a member of British Gymnastics for insurance cover, discounts and other member benefits. Participation is strictly prohibited if your child does not have BG Membership by their third lesson. This must be renewed every year in September/October.

4. Will I be required to pay for a Club Membership?

No. Unlike other clubs, being a member of our Club is FREE. We simply charge for the cost of the lessons and ask that you become a member of British Gymnastics (if required).

5. Do the participants follow an awards scheme?

Yes, we are a British Gymnastics registered club who follow the British Gymnastics award scheme: RISE.

6. Can my child attend more than one class a week?

Absolutely, as long as a space is available in that second class. Payment will then need to be arranged.

7. How will I know when my child is ready to move into the next level of class?

Our coaches are constantly analysing the ability of the participants in the class. When we feel that they are ready to be challenged in a harder group, you will be informed.
